TC4 12W Dual Colour LED Warning Light Head | Reflex Lens

The TC4 is the two-colour version of the C4, built on the same 117mm surface mount housing and the same wide angle reflex lens, but carrying eight 3W LEDs instead of four. The LEDs sit in pairs, one of each colour, in each of the four reflector cells. It signals vehicle presence on traffic control, civil, utility and fleet vehicles, plant and machinery.

The two colours alternate, they do not run together. One colour lights at a time and the head cycles between them. Because each colour has its own full set of four LEDs spread across all four cells, each one fires across the entire length of the lens rather than half of it. That is the practical difference from a split-colour head, where the LEDs are divided by position and each colour only ever lights its own half. If you need two colours showing at the same moment, the C4 is sold in blue and red and in red and white as split-output units.

Two colour pairs are stocked: amber and red, or blue and white. Each TC4 is a fixed pair chosen at purchase, and the pairing cannot be changed after the fact.

Where the TIR heads in this range send output forward through separate optical cells, the reflex lens uses a reflector cup behind each LED to spread light off-axis, so the head stays visible from a much wider angle. It surface mounts through two screw fixing points, one in each end lug, 104mm between centres, suiting bumpers, grille surrounds, bull bars, guards, tray and body rails, headboards and rear body panels. Output runs across 29 selectable flash patterns at a flash rate of 1 to 4Hz, ten more than the single-colour C4, which is where the two-colour combinations live. Input is 10 to 30V DC, covering 12V and 24V vehicles and plant with the one part, at a maximum draw of 18W. Wiring runs on four cores: red for power through a 3A fuse, black for chassis ground, white to set the head into flash group one or group two for simultaneous or alternating operation against other heads, and yellow for pattern selection and synchronisation. Connecting the yellow wires of several heads together synchronises their flash. Wiring should be carried out by a qualified auto electrician.

The head is built on an aluminium base, sealed to IP68 and rated for ambient temperatures from -20 to +65 degrees, suited to exposed mounting positions on vehicles working in vibration, dust and weather. LED lifespan is rated at 100,000 hours. Overall size is 117 x 30 x 28mm.

This product is imported and branded by UAG Services Pty Ltd, which acts as the manufacturer of this item for warranty purposes. It is covered by a 3-year limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.

This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, weathering or UV degradation, accidental or impact damage, water ingress caused by damaged seals not reported at delivery, incorrect or unauthorised installation, unauthorised modification, or use outside the product's stated voltage and operating conditions. Installation should be carried out by a qualified auto electrician; damage caused by DIY wiring is not covered.
