MGX H5 5W Handheld UHF Radio | 80 Channel | Speaker Mic

MGX H5 5W Handheld UHF Radio is a 5 watt handheld for traffic controllers, civil crews and fleet operators. It runs the full 80 UHF channels for day-to-day site and convoy communication, in an IP67 die-cast alloy body built for field use.

5 watts is the maximum transmit power allowed for UHF CB in Australia, so the H5 runs at the top of the legal range. It operates under the ACMA citizen band class licence, so there is no individual licence or fee for UHF CB use.

The H5 has a colour display, CTCSS and DCS signalling, a priority channel, dual watch and a programmable smart button. Receive-side active noise cancelling cleans up incoming audio around plant and traffic, and an instant replay button repeats the last transmission when a call is missed. The die-cast alloy chassis and IP67 rating handle dust, rain and daily knocks, and the battery charges over USB-C from the chargers crews already carry.

UAG Services supplies the H5 with a shoulder speaker microphone (model H5/2M) that clips at the collar, keeping the radio on the belt with audio at ear level on noisy sites. The speaker microphone is included as standard from us.

As a bonus, the H5 is also LMR ready for operators who work on a licensed commercial network alongside open UHF channels. Operating on LMR frequencies requires the appropriate licence.

MGX Manufacturer Warranty
The MGX H5 is covered by a 3-year manufacturer warranty from MGX (Autobacs Australia Pty Ltd).

Warranty claims are handled through the manufacturer's service process. UAG Services can help, including providing proof of purchase and facilitating claims where needed.

This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. It does not cover damage caused by misuse, incorrect installation, unauthorised modification or normal wear from operational use.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. This warranty is provided in addition to these rights and does not limit or exclude them.
