Ionnic 103 Amber LED Beacon | Magnetic Mount

The Ionnic 103010 amber LED beacon is a low-profile magnetic warning beacon that plugs into the vehicle's cigar socket. It sits on a 200mm rubber magnetic base and stands 85mm high, and the lens tapers to 120mm at the top. It suits work vehicles that need a beacon some of the time rather than a permanent fit.

Light comes from 18 x 3W LEDs behind a polycarbonate amber lens. There are 11 patterns: quad burst, quad flash, double flash, single flash, fast flash, quad and single flash, slow, normal and fast rotation, cycle scan and steady on.

The 3.5m lead ends in a cigar plug with two switches, one for power and one to change the pattern, so the beacon is controlled from inside the cab. It runs on 12-24V, and Ionnic lists a draw of 3.2A at 12V.

Fit the beacon to a clean, dry, smooth, non-porous ferrous surface, with the base parallel to the ground. It won't hold on aluminium or fibreglass, or on an ice-covered surface. Check it is secure before driving, and don't exceed Ionnic's maximum safe speed of 110km/h. The tabs on the base release the vacuum when you take it off.

The aluminium base has a larger surface area to help with heat dissipation. The beacon is rated IP67, vibration rated to SAE J575 and rated for -30°C to +50°C. It is made in Taiwan.

Ionnic product data lists ECE R65, ECE R10 and SAE J845 Class 1. These relate to light output and electrical performance as per the supplied product data.

Commonly used on traffic control vehicles, civil fleet vehicles, utility vehicles and council maintenance vehicles. Vehicle lighting requirements may vary by vehicle type, registration category, jurisdiction and intended use. Vehicle warning systems support visibility but do not replace a traffic management plan or traffic guidance scheme.

Manufacturer Warranty - 5 Years
This product is covered by a 5-year Ionnic LED beacon warranty against defects in materials and workmanship, given by Ionnic's Australian supplier.

Under this warranty, faulty goods may be repaired, replaced or substituted with a similar product. It does not cover normal wear and tear, or goods that have been modified, disassembled, misused, abused, damaged, improperly installed, operated or repaired, or not maintained in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. This includes use outside the product's stated voltage, speed and operating conditions.

You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
