GME TX6165TP 5/1W Handheld UHF CB Radio Twin Pack is two complete 5 watt handhelds, enough to kit out two crew members from one box, on traffic control, civil and utility work.

5 watts is the maximum transmit power allowed for UHF CB in Australia, so both radios run at the top of the legal range across all 80 UHF CB channels (476.425 to 477.4125 MHz). UHF CB operates under the ACMA citizen band class licence, so there is no individual licence and no fee. Each radio has switchable 5/1 watt power, scan, dual and triple watch, a priority channel and VOX hands-free.

Both radios are IP67 rated, dust tight and waterproof to 1 metre, with a MIL-STD-810G rating for shock, vibration and temperature. A 2600mAh lithium-ion battery in each gives up to 18 hours at 5 watts or 30 hours at 1 watt. Each unit has a 2 watt speaker, high-contrast display, LED torch and user-programmable button.

The twin pack includes two radios, two 2600mAh batteries (BP026), two IP67 speaker microphones (MC011), two earpiece microphones (HS015), a dual desktop rapid charger (BCD021), a rugged carry case, a 12V vehicle charger (BCV007), an AC adaptor (PS013), two antennas (AE4021) and two belt clips (MB060).

The TX6165 handheld radios are covered by a 3-year manufacturer warranty from GME. Included accessories are covered by a 1-year manufacturer warranty.

Warranty claims are handled through GME's authorised service network. UAG Services can help with the process, including providing proof of purchase and facilitating claims where needed.

This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. It does not cover damage caused by misuse, incorrect installation, unauthorised modification or normal wear from operational use.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. This warranty is provided in addition to these rights and does not limit or exclude them.
