Multi-Message Sign Leg Extensions | 500mm Lift (Pair)

The Multi-Message Sign Leg Extensions (500mm Lift) are modular leg extensions used to raise a compatible multi-message sign frame when it sits too low behind barriers, fencing or uneven ground. Each extension slides into the stem of a compatible MMS frame leg and lifts the sign by approximately 500mm per unit. Sold in pairs.

The extension is built from a 500mm 25x25mm SHS DuraSteel outer section welded to a 300mm 20x20mm SHS stem section, giving each extension a total length of 800mm. The 500mm outer section forms the usable lift, while the 300mm stem inserts securely into the sign frame leg or into another extension.

Because each extension is modular, multiple units can be stacked. Two extensions slotted together raise a compatible frame by approximately 1 metre, which can help when working behind tall concrete barriers, deep shoulders or temporary fencing. When stacking extensions to this height, weights or sandbags are recommended to help prevent the frame tipping in strong wind.

These extensions are compatible with UAGS multi-message sign frame leg stems where the stem size and fitment are suitable, including the Heavy Duty Traffic Sign Y-Leg | Yellow and the Folding Traffic Sign Frame Leg | DuraGal. Sign frames, legs and sign panels are supplied separately unless included as part of a package or quote.

Common use includes roadworks, utility works, civil construction and council maintenance activities where a sign needs extra height behind barriers, drop-offs or uneven shoulders.

UAGS Fabricated Steel Warranty - 2-Year Limited Coverage
This product includes a 2-year limited warranty from UAG Services Pty Ltd covering manufacturing defects in the welded steel fabrication, including structural integrity, welds and bends, under normal use conditions.

This warranty does not cover wear and tear, rubbing, scuffing or wearing of the cold galvanising paint or powder coat finish from normal handling, transport or storage, nor does it cover damage from misuse, impact, unauthorised modification or incorrect use.

You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
