Detour Straight Arrow (SYM) TM5-1B(S)

Detour Straight TM5-1B(S) (1200x300mm) corflute sign panel displays a DETOUR legend with a straight-ahead arrow symbol for temporary traffic management arrangements where traffic is being directed to continue straight along a detour route.

The signface layout, legend, arrow symbol and colours follow the applicable AS 1743:2023 signface design for TM5-1B(S). This standard-listed guide / detour directional TM Series sign panel is supplied as a modular corflute panel for use with compatible temporary roadwork sign frame systems.

UAGS temporary traffic sign corflute panels are manufactured on 6mm UV stabilised corflute using Class 400T retroreflective yellow sheeting. The black DETOUR legend, black straight-ahead arrow symbol, black border and yellow retroreflective background support use in temporary traffic management environments where this route direction message is specified.

This 1200x300mm corflute sign panel is designed to slide into compatible temporary roadwork sign frames, including suitable 1200x300mm Double-Sided Traffic Sign Frame Type 4 arrangements and suitable Multi-Message Sign Frame No. 1 arrangements where the frame accepts a 1200x300mm corflute panel.

This panel may be used as a standalone directional detour marker in a compatible 1200x300mm sign frame, or as part of a broader Multi-Message Sign arrangement, where traffic is being directed to continue straight ahead under the applicable temporary traffic management arrangement. Typical use may include detours through intersections, road closure detour routes, lane closures, staged roadworks, service upgrades, event traffic control, worksite access points and changed traffic condition arrangements where the message is specified.

TM5-1B(S) provides straight-ahead detour route direction guidance. It should be distinguished from the separate Detour Ahead TM1-6B panel, which provides advance warning of a detour ahead but does not provide route direction guidance.

As a directional detour panel, it may form part of a broader temporary traffic management arrangement with logically related signs and devices such as Detour Ahead, Detour Left, Detour Right, Road Work Ahead, Road Closed Ahead, Road Closed, Local Traffic Only, No Through Road, Lane Closed, speed limit panels, cones, bollards, barriers, delineation devices, traffic controllers or portable traffic signals where specified. It should not be treated as creating, authorising or legally enforcing a detour arrangement by itself.

Selection, placement, panel arrangement and use remain subject to the applicable TMP, TGS, project requirements, site traffic management arrangement, facility requirements, site conditions and relevant authority requirements.

Corflute Sign Warranty - 1-Year Limited Coverage
This product includes a 1-year limited warranty from UAG Services Pty Ltd covering defects in materials and workmanship present at the time of delivery.

This warranty applies only to signs that are unused, unmodified and stored under normal conditions. It does not cover wear and tear, weathering, UV degradation, fading, accidental damage, transport or handling damage after delivery, or incorrect or improper installation.

Claims are subject to inspection and approval. Where a defect is confirmed, UAG Services Pty Ltd will repair, replace or refund the product at its discretion. Return shipping costs are handled in accordance with the UAGS Returns Policy unless otherwise required under Australian Consumer Law.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
