Detour Ahead TM1-6C

Detour Ahead TM1-6C (1200x600mm) corflute sign panel displays a DETOUR AHEAD advance warning message on a yellow retroreflective background. It is used in temporary traffic management setups where road users need advance notice that a detour is ahead, bypassing a section of normal roadway that is not trafficable, unavailable or where work is being carried out.

TM1-6C is a UAGS product reference, not a code listed in AS 1742.3. It follows the TM Series size convention, where C denotes a 1200x600mm multi-message panel, and sits alongside the listed Detour Ahead TM1-6A (600x600mm) and Detour Ahead TM1-6B (1200x300mm) panels. AS 1742.3 Table 4.3(A) lists the DETOUR AHEAD sign as T1-6A at 1200x600mm, the same size and layout as this panel, so this is a standard-derived corflute version of the T1-6A signface for use in multi-message sign frames.

UAGS temporary traffic sign corflute panels are manufactured on 6mm UV stabilised corflute using Class 400T retroreflective yellow sheeting with opaque black printing. The black uppercase DETOUR AHEAD legend, set over two lines, black border and yellow retroreflective background support clear advance detour warning where this panel is specified.

This 1200x600mm corflute sign panel is compatible with suitable temporary roadwork sign frame systems that accept 1200x600mm corflute panels. It may also be used in compatible Multi-Message Sign Frame No. 1 arrangements where the frame configuration accepts a 1200x600mm corflute panel across the upper panel positions, typically with a 1200x300mm panel or blank below it.

In practical use, this panel may be used in roadwork, road closure, detour, changed traffic condition, temporary traffic routing, worksite access, lane closure and civil works arrangements where a larger single-panel advance warning is specified. The detour may route traffic via other roads, streets or a temporary side track where specified by the applicable arrangement. It should be distinguished from directional detour marker panels, which use a DETOUR legend with an arrow to indicate the route direction.

This panel provides detour advance warning information only. It does not create, authorise or legally enforce a detour, road closure or traffic control arrangement by itself. Selection, placement, panel pairing, frame arrangement and use remain subject to the applicable TMP, TGS, project requirements, site conditions and relevant authority requirements.

This warranty applies only to signs that are unused, unmodified and stored under normal conditions. It does not cover wear and tear, weathering, UV degradation, fading, accidental damage, transport or handling damage after delivery, or incorrect or improper installation.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
