48W Amber LED Flashing Beacon

The UAGS U7-24 48W LED flashing beacon is a direct-wired vehicle warning beacon that supports vehicle visibility across traffic control, civil construction, utility, council maintenance and plant operations. It is available in two lens options, an amber high dome lens (U7-24AAT) or a clear high dome lens (U7-24CAT), both producing amber LED output. It is commonly installed on work vehicles operating around roadworks, construction zones, mobile works, worksite access areas and other environments where vehicle warning visibility is required.

The U7-24 replaces the discontinued UAGS U1-24 72W beacon in the UAGS range. Fleets replacing or standardising older U1-24 units should select this model.

The beacon uses a two-part mounting system consisting of a permanently mounted fixed base ring and a removable beacon body. The base ring is secured using a three-point fixing pattern, while the beacon attaches with a twist-lock connection for secure installation and simplified servicing. It suits installation on vehicle roofs, ute canopies, service bodies, tray-mounted brackets and plant bodywork where the mounting surface and installation method are appropriate. UAGS also stocks angled, disc and plate beacon mounting brackets suiting beacons up to 170mm diameter.

Light output comes from 24 high-power LEDs operating from a 10-48V DC supply with multiple selectable flash patterns, including R65 flash modes, CA/SAE-style flash patterns, rotating modes and steady burn. Pattern selection, dimming and steady-on functions are available through the direct-wired function wires, depending on the vehicle wiring and control setup. The beacon has built-in memory and resumes the last selected flash pattern when powered back on.

This model is supplied as a direct-wired beacon. Wiring functions include positive supply, negative, pattern selection, dimming and steady-on operation. This UAGS variant does not include a cigarette plug and is not intended for plug-in or portable operation.

The beacon incorporates a replaceable high dome polycarbonate lens, amber or clear depending on the selected variant, with an aluminium base and an IP69K ingress protection rating to support installation in exposed operating environments.

Supplier product data lists ECE R65 Class 2 and ECE R10. The beacon is commonly fitted to traffic control vehicles, civil fleet vehicles, utility service vehicles, council maintenance vehicles, TMA support vehicles, service bodies and plant equipment. Vehicle lighting requirements may vary by vehicle type, registration category, jurisdiction and intended use.

UAGS Warning Light Warranty - 3-Year Limited Coverage
This product is imported and branded by UAG Services Pty Ltd, which acts as the manufacturer of this item for warranty purposes. It is covered by a 3-year limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.

This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, weathering or UV degradation, accidental or impact damage, water ingress caused by damaged seals not reported at delivery, incorrect or unauthorised installation, unauthorised modification, or use outside the product's stated voltage and operating conditions. Installation should be carried out by a qualified auto electrician; damage caused by DIY wiring is not covered.

Claims are subject to inspection and approval. Where a defect is confirmed, UAG Services Pty Ltd will repair, replace or refund the product at its discretion. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
