Speed Limit 40 RM4-1A(40) (600x600mm) corflute Multi-Message Sign panel displays a 40 km/h speed restriction symbol for temporary traffic management setups where a 40 km/h temporary speed restriction is specified. It is one of the most commonly used temporary speed sign panels for roadworks, utility works, lane restrictions and changed traffic conditions.

The signface layout, symbol and colours follow the applicable AS 1743:2023 signface design for the RM4-1A(40) code. This RM Series regulatory speed sign panel is supplied as a modular corflute component for use in compatible temporary traffic management frame systems where the panel size and frame configuration are suitable.

UAGS temporary traffic sign corflute panels are manufactured on 6mm UV stabilised corflute using Class 400T retroreflective white sheeting. The white retroreflective background, black numerals and red annulus provide the recognised speed restriction signface format for this panel.

This 600x600mm panel is compatible with Multi-Message Sign Frame No. 1 and 600x600mm Double-Sided Traffic Sign Frame Type 5 where the frame accepts 600x600mm corflute panels and the selected frame arrangement is suitable for the site setup.

This panel may be used before or through a work area where a 40 km/h speed restriction is specified as part of the temporary speed management arrangement. Typical use may include roadworks, utility works, lane restrictions, changed traffic conditions, site access arrangements or other temporary traffic management setups where a 40 km/h speed restriction panel is required.

The panel may be used with logically related temporary traffic management panels such as Road Work Ahead, Lane Closed Ahead, Prepare To Stop, Queued Traffic Ahead, Reduce Speed, Speed Limit Ahead, On Side Road or Drive Safely, where specified by the applicable TMP, TGS, project requirements, site conditions and relevant authority requirements. Companion panels are not automatically required or suitable for every setup.

The sign panel itself does not create, establish or legally enforce a 40 km/h speed zone and does not guarantee enforceability. Temporary speed restriction use depends on the applicable TMP, TGS, project requirements, site conditions, authority requirements and any required approvals or authorisations.

Corflute Sign Warranty - 1-Year Limited Coverage
This product includes a 1-year limited warranty from UAG Services Pty Ltd covering defects in materials and workmanship present at the time of delivery.

This warranty applies only to signs that are unused, unmodified and stored under normal conditions. It does not cover wear and tear, weathering, UV degradation, fading, accidental damage, transport or handling damage after delivery, or incorrect or improper installation.

Claims are subject to inspection and approval. Where a defect is confirmed, UAG Services Pty Ltd will repair, replace or refund the product at its discretion. Return shipping costs are handled in accordance with the UAGS Returns Policy unless otherwise required under Australian Consumer Law.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
