Orange Traffic Management Flag | Timber Handle

Orange Traffic Management Flag (Timber Handle) is a 300x300mm fluoro orange flag on a 610mm timber pole, used on temporary traffic management sign assemblies to draw a driver's eye to an approaching sign.

The flag is made from UV stabilised woven PVC in fluoro orange, fixed to a timber pole. The pole slides into the corner pocket of a compatible sign frame or into the edge channel of boxed edge signage, so the flag sits above the sign face without any tools or fixings.

Flags are commonly run in pairs on the sign assembly a driver reaches first, and on assemblies carrying a reduced worksite speed limit. That practice came from the former Victorian worksite traffic management code, which has since been superseded. Current national and Victorian temporary traffic management documents no longer call for flags on multi-message signs, but nothing prevents their use, and many crews, clients and contracts still specify them. Confirm what your site needs against the applicable TMP, TGS and authority requirements.

The aluminium handle version is the same 300x300mm flag on a 600mm aluminium pole, where a metal shaft is preferred.

Typically used with multi-message sign frames, boxed edge signs and other temporary sign assemblies for roadworks, civil construction, utility works, maintenance activities and event traffic management.

This product is a visibility accessory. It does not create, authorise or enforce a traffic control arrangement, speed restriction or worksite setup by itself. Selection and use remain subject to the applicable TMP, TGS, project requirements, site conditions and relevant authority requirements.

This product includes a 1-year limited warranty from UAG Services Pty Ltd covering defects in materials and workmanship present at the time of delivery.

This warranty applies only to products that are unused, unmodified and stored under normal conditions. It does not cover wear and tear, weathering, UV degradation, fading, fraying, accidental damage, transport or handling damage after delivery, or incorrect or improper use.

Claims are subject to inspection and approval. Where a defect is confirmed, UAG Services Pty Ltd will repair, replace or refund the product at its discretion. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
