Heavy Duty Traffic Sign Y-Leg | DuraGal

The Heavy Duty Traffic Sign Y-Leg is a removable steel sign frame support used with compatible temporary traffic sign frames and selected boxed-edge traffic signs in temporary traffic management setups. It is commonly used by traffic control crews, civil contractors, utility crews, councils and maintenance teams during roadworks, detours, lane closures, pedestrian guidance activities, road condition signage deployment and worksite access management.

The Y-shaped bipod design uses a 20 x 20mm upright tube with a slot-in mounting arrangement that fits compatible sign frames where the upright size and frame design are suitable. The leg can be installed during sign deployment, then removed during relocation and pack-down to assist transport, storage and equipment handling between jobs.

The removable format supports repeated field use and allows crews to carry sign support equipment separately from sign frames when loading vehicles or organising equipment. The 2.0mm wall thickness steel construction provides a more rigid support profile than common 1.6mm market legs, helping reduce flex during normal handling, transport, setup and pack-down.

The leg is manufactured from 25 x 25mm SHS steel with a 20 x 20mm upright tube and a DuraGal finish, suited to repeated deployment, vehicle transport, site handling and storage as part of regular traffic control equipment operations.

The Y-leg is compatible with UAGS multi-message sign frames and selected compatible boxed-edge traffic signs where the slot-in upright size and frame design are suitable. UAGS Fabricated Steel Warranty - 2-Year Limited Coverage
This product includes a 2-year limited warranty from UAG Services Pty Ltd covering manufacturing defects in the welded steel fabrication, including structural integrity, welds and bends, under normal use conditions.

This warranty does not cover wear and tear, rubbing, scuffing or wearing of the cold galvanising paint or powder coat finish from normal handling, transport or storage, nor does it cover damage from misuse, impact, unauthorised modification or incorrect use.
