Stop Slow Bat | 450mm Class 1 Reflective | Telescopic Handle

450mm Stop Slow Bat is a hand-held traffic control sign used by traffic controllers to direct road users during stop/slow operations. It displays a 450mm STOP face in red and a 450mm SLOW face in yellow, the R6-8A and T7-1A sign designations listed in AS 1742.3 for hand-held bats, and is used at controlled worksites, single-lane shuttle arrangements and worksite access points.

The bat is held by the traffic controller at the control point, with the sign face turned to show STOP or SLOW as directed by the traffic control arrangement. The telescopic aluminium handle extends from 1000mm to 1800mm, supporting the requirement for the sign to be displayed with its underside about 1.8 metres above ground level where specified by the applicable traffic control arrangement. A foam pad option is not available for this model.

The 450mm sign faces use Class 1 reflective material, supporting use across day and night traffic control shifts where specified by the applicable traffic control arrangement.

The lightweight aluminium telescopic handle suits repeated daily handling. With the handle collapsed, the bat packs down to just under 1500mm overall for storage in a traffic control vehicle.

The bat is also sold in parts. The 450mm Stop Slow Bat Head with heavy duty bracket suits crews that run their own poles or want a fresh head on an existing bat, and the aluminium telescopic pole is sold separately as a replacement handle. 600mm faces are made to order; contact us to arrange them.

This product is imported and supplied by UAG Services Pty Ltd and is covered by a 1-year limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use conditions.

Traffic control equipment must be used, stored and maintained correctly. This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, weathering or UV degradation, impact damage, misuse, unauthorised modification, or exposure beyond the product's intended operating conditions.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
