6W Amber LED Warning Light Head | Surface Mount

The UAGS U31-6A 6W amber LED warning light head delivers wide angle amber warning output across a 180-degree spread, supporting vehicle warning setups where side visibility is required. It is used on traffic control utes, service vehicles, civil plant and fleet vehicles to define vehicle presence when operating roadside, in work zones or on active worksites.

The light head surface-mounts with an aluminium bezel on a 95mm x 37mm face, fixing through two 4.1mm mounting holes at 84mm centres. The wide angle lens is deliberately raised, projecting 26mm from the mounting surface, which is what lets it throw light across the full 180 degrees rather than only straight out. It is commonly mounted along vehicle sides and rear corners to extend warning coverage beyond forward-facing beacons and lightbars.

Light output comes from 6 x 1 watt LEDs behind the wide angle lens. There are 14 selectable modes: ECE R65 single and double flashes at 120 FPM and quad flashes at 150 FPM, each in two phase settings, plus single, double and quad flashes at 75 FPM, steady burn and off. Pattern selection runs through the pattern wire, brightness can be reduced for night work through the dimming wire, and up to six heads synchronise through the sync wires, with phase 1 and phase 2 settings allowing alternating flash sequences across the vehicle.

Multivolt 10-30V DC operation suits both 12V and 24V vehicle electrical systems, with a maximum draw of 0.83A at 12.8V DC.

The sealed housing and aluminium body carry an IP67 ingress protection rating, suiting exposed mounting positions subject to rain, dust, washdown and vibration.

The U31-6A is certified to ECE R65 Class 1, SAE Class 1 and ECE R10 as supplied. These certifications relate to light output performance and electromagnetic compatibility.

In real-world deployment, the U31-6A works as part of a multi-point warning setup, positioned on vehicle sides, rear sections or plant extremities so the vehicle remains clearly identifiable when entering, exiting or operating within traffic-controlled environments. UAGS Warning Light Warranty - 3-Year Limited Coverage
This product is imported and branded by UAG Services Pty Ltd, which acts as the manufacturer of this item for warranty purposes. It is covered by a 3-year limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.

This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, weathering or UV degradation, accidental or impact damage, water ingress caused by damaged seals not reported at delivery, incorrect or unauthorised installation, unauthorised modification, or use outside the product's stated voltage and operating conditions. Installation should be carried out by a qualified auto electrician; damage caused by DIY wiring is not covered.
