Local Traffic Only GM9-40-2A (600x600mm) corflute sign panel displays a LOCAL TRAFFIC ONLY message on a white retroreflective background. It is used in temporary traffic management setups where local traffic access is provided or maintained as part of a broader detour, road closure, work area or temporary access arrangement.

The signface layout, legend and colours follow the applicable AS 1743:2023 signface design for the GM9-40-2A code. This GM Series local traffic / access message panel is supplied as a modular corflute panel for use with compatible temporary roadwork sign frame systems.

In temporary traffic management use, the Local Traffic Only sign may be specified at detours where local traffic is permitted to enter the work area or a closed section of road in advance of the work area. This use remains subject to the applicable TMP, TGS, detour arrangement, access arrangement, site arrangement and relevant authority requirements.

National use-context wording notes that this panel should not be used in conjunction with regulatory signs such as No Entry, No Left Turn or No Right Turn signs. Any project-specific exception should be checked against the applicable TMP, TGS, access arrangement, site arrangement and relevant authority requirements before use.

UAGS temporary traffic sign corflute panels are manufactured from 6mm UV stabilised corflute using Class 400T retroreflective white sheeting with opaque black printing. The black uppercase LOCAL TRAFFIC ONLY legend, black border and white retroreflective background support clear local traffic messaging where this panel is specified.

This 600x600mm corflute sign panel is compatible with suitable temporary roadwork sign frame systems that accept 600x600mm corflute panels, including suitable 600x600mm Double-Sided Traffic Sign Frame Type 5 arrangements. It may also be used in compatible Multi-Message Sign Frame No. 1 arrangements where the frame configuration accepts 600x600mm corflute panels and the overall sign arrangement is suitable.

In practical use, this panel may be used for temporary road closures, detours, residential access, business access, local access routes, roadworks, utility works, civil works, event traffic management and closed road sections in advance of works where a LOCAL TRAFFIC ONLY message is specified as part of the site arrangement.

Where specified for the site arrangement, related panels may include Road Closed Ahead, Road Closed, Detour, Detour Ahead, Roadworks, Road Work Ahead, Changed Traffic Conditions, Local Access Only, On Side Road, directional arrow panels or suitable supplementary context panels.

This panel provides local traffic message or site awareness information only. It does not create lawful local traffic access permission, a lawful road closure, detour, access restriction, site compliance, TMP validity, TGS validity or approved traffic management arrangement by itself. Selection, placement, panel pairing, visibility, frame arrangement and use remain subject to the applicable TMP, TGS, detour arrangement, access arrangement, site arrangement, project requirements, site conditions and relevant authority requirements.

This product includes a 1-year limited warranty from UAG Services Pty Ltd covering defects in materials and workmanship present at the time of delivery.

This warranty applies only to signs that are unused, unmodified and stored under normal conditions. It does not cover wear and tear, weathering, UV degradation, fading, accidental damage, transport or handling damage after delivery, or incorrect or improper installation.

Claims are subject to inspection and approval. Where a defect is confirmed, UAG Services Pty Ltd will repair, replace or refund the product at its discretion. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
