Footpath Closed Ahead TM8-9A

Footpath Closed Ahead TM8-9A (600x600mm) corflute sign panel displays a FOOTPATH CLOSED AHEAD message on a yellow retroreflective background. It is used in temporary traffic management, pedestrian management and worksite access arrangements where road users and pedestrians need advance warning that a footpath, walkway or pedestrian access path is closed ahead as part of the site arrangement.

The signface layout, legend and colours follow the applicable AS 1743:2023 signface design for the TM8-9A code. This TM Series pedestrian / footpath closure advance warning panel is supplied as a modular corflute panel for use with compatible temporary roadwork sign frame systems.

UAGS temporary traffic sign corflute panels are manufactured from 6mm UV stabilised corflute using Class 400T retroreflective yellow sheeting with opaque black printing. The black uppercase FOOTPATH CLOSED AHEAD legend, black border and yellow retroreflective background support clear advance footpath closure messaging where this panel is specified.

This 600x600mm corflute sign panel is compatible with suitable temporary roadwork sign frame systems that accept 600x600mm corflute panels, including suitable 600x600mm Double-Sided Traffic Sign Frame Type 5 arrangements. It may also be used in compatible Multi-Message Sign Frame No. 1 arrangements where the frame configuration accepts 600x600mm corflute panels and the overall pedestrian management sign arrangement is suitable.

In practical use, this panel may be used for footpath reconstruction, building works, façade works, utility trenching, service works, landscaping works, civil works, roadworks, emergency hazard responses, storm damage and temporary pedestrian access changes where a FOOTPATH CLOSED AHEAD message is specified as part of the site arrangement.

Where specified for the site arrangement, related panels may include Footpath Closed TM8-4A, Pedestrians, pedestrian directional arrow panels, Use Other Footpath, Pedestrian Detour, Cyclists Dismount, Bicycle Lane Closed, Road Work Ahead, Changed Traffic Conditions, barrier boards or suitable supplementary context panels.

It does not create a lawful footpath closure, pedestrian detour, access restriction, site compliance, TMP validity, TGS validity, pedestrian management plan validity or approved traffic control arrangement by itself. Selection, placement, panel pairing, visibility, frame arrangement and use remain subject to the applicable TMP, TGS, pedestrian management arrangement, site arrangement, project requirements, site conditions and relevant authority requirements.

Corflute Sign Warranty - 1-Year Limited Coverage
This product includes a 1-year limited warranty from UAG Services Pty Ltd covering defects in materials and workmanship present at the time of delivery.

This warranty applies only to signs that are unused, unmodified and stored under normal conditions. It does not cover wear and tear, weathering, UV degradation, fading, accidental damage, transport or handling damage after delivery, or incorrect or improper installation.

Claims are subject to inspection and approval. Where a defect is confirmed, UAG Services Pty Ltd will repair, replace or refund the product at its discretion. Return shipping costs are handled in accordance with the UAGS Returns Policy unless otherwise required under Australian Consumer Law.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. This warranty is provided in addition to these rights and does not limit or exclude them.
