Bicycle Ahead (SYM) TM8-17A

Bicycle Ahead (SYM) TM8-17A (600x600mm) corflute sign panel displays a black bicycle symbol with AHEAD text on a yellow retroreflective background. It is used in temporary traffic management setups where road users need advance warning of bicycle activity, cyclist movement or a bicycle-related temporary traffic condition ahead.

The signface layout, bicycle symbol, AHEAD legend and colours follow the applicable AS 1743:2023 signface design for the TM8-17A code. This TM Series bicycle ahead symbolic warning panel is supplied as a modular corflute panel for use with compatible temporary roadwork sign frame systems.

UAGS temporary traffic sign corflute panels are manufactured from 6mm UV stabilised corflute using Class 400T retroreflective yellow sheeting with opaque black printing. The black bicycle symbol, black AHEAD legend, black border and yellow retroreflective background support clear cyclist-related warning or site awareness messaging where this panel is specified.

This 600x600mm corflute sign panel is compatible with suitable temporary roadwork sign frame systems that accept 600x600mm corflute panels. It may also be used in compatible Multi-Message Sign Frame No. 1 arrangements where the frame configuration accepts 600x600mm corflute panels and the overall pedestrian and cyclist management arrangement is suitable.

In practical use, this panel may be used near bicycle routes, temporary cyclist routes, shared path changes, cycle lane changes, cyclist detours, utility works, road resurfacing, construction activities, event traffic management and pedestrian and cyclist management areas where bicycle activity ahead needs to be identified.

Where specified for the site arrangement, related panels may include Bicycle (SYM) TM8-18A, Bicycle Lane Closed (SYM) TM8-16A, cyclist direction panels, pedestrian direction panels, Footpath Closed panels, Footpath Closed Ahead panels, Detour panels, Detour Ahead panels, Road Work Ahead panels or suitable 1200x300mm direction or context panels.

This panel provides bicycle ahead warning or site awareness information only. It does not create a lawful cyclist route, bicycle lane, cyclist detour, shared path, site compliance, TMP validity, TGS validity or approved traffic control arrangement by itself. Selection, placement, panel pairing, visibility, frame arrangement and use remain subject to the applicable TMP, TGS, pedestrian and cyclist management arrangement, site arrangement, project requirements, site conditions and relevant authority requirements.

Corflute Sign Warranty - 1-Year Limited Coverage
This product includes a 1-year limited warranty from UAG Services Pty Ltd covering defects in materials and workmanship present at the time of delivery.

This warranty applies only to signs that are unused, unmodified and stored under normal conditions. It does not cover wear and tear, weathering, UV degradation, fading, accidental damage, transport or handling damage after delivery, or incorrect or improper installation.

Claims are subject to inspection and approval. Where a defect is confirmed, UAG Services Pty Ltd will repair, replace or refund the product at its discretion. Return shipping costs are handled in accordance with the UAGS Returns Policy unless otherwise required under Australian Consumer Law.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. This warranty is provided in addition to these rights and does not limit or exclude them.
