TCEasy Cover Up Clips are UAGS-branded, Australian-made clips that turn a standard corflute sign panel into a temporary cover-up sign for an existing roadside sign. The cover sign is raised, positioned and removed from ground level, where site conditions and approved procedures allow, using the Stop/Slow bat every traffic controller already carries. No ladders, no climbing the post.

The usual job is covering the permanent regulatory speed sign so road users are not shown two speed limits at once during roadworks, lane closures, changed traffic conditions and temporary speed zone setups, including aftercare. The clips fit standard flat aluminium sign blades from 1.6 to 2mm thick, which covers typical regulatory speed signs.

Each clip has two channels and two bat points. The corflute channel pushes onto the top edge of the cover panel and the sign channel drops over the top edge of the aluminium sign. The lift point lets the bat head carry the made-up cover sign up onto the sign face, then a push down on the lock-down slot with the bat seats the clip so the cover stays put. Removal is the reverse: hook the bat under the lift point and lift the cover sign off. It is a practical alternative to alligator clips, tape and other improvised fixing methods that are slower to apply, harder to remove and less consistent across repeated setup and pack-down.

Any standard corflute sign panel works as the cover. The backs of UAGS multi-message panels are plain white, so a spare panel turned around makes a clean blank cover, or crews display a worker symbolic panel facing traffic. The clips are moulded from UV-stable high-density acetyl with strong shape memory, so the grip stays firm through repeated use, and the compact format stores easily in traffic control vehicles, crew kits and sign cover-up sets between shifts. Each clip measures 95x61x22mm and weighs about 100g. Sold in packs of 20, enough for ten 600x600mm cover signs. They pair with any standard Stop/Slow bat, such as the 450mm Stop Slow Bat with telescopic handle.

The clips should be used by trained traffic control personnel in accordance with the applicable TMP, TGS, SWMS and site procedures. Whether and when a permanent sign is covered remains subject to project requirements, site conditions and relevant authority requirements.

This UAGS-branded, Australian-made product is supplied by UAG Services Pty Ltd and is covered by a 1-year limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use conditions.

Traffic control equipment must be used, stored and maintained correctly. This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, weathering or UV degradation, impact damage, misuse, unauthorised modification, or exposure beyond the product's intended operating conditions.
