Manual Reset Circuit Breaker | 50A | 9.5mm Stud

Manual Reset Circuit Breaker (50A) protects a single vehicle electrical circuit by interrupting current during overload or fault conditions and providing manual isolation when power needs to be shut down at the source. It is used in vehicle electrical systems protecting accessory feeds on traffic control vehicles, civil fleet, utility vehicles and service bodies where a resettable protection device is required instead of a fuse.

Installed close to the battery positive supply or on the feed line to the protected accessory circuit, this breaker is surface mounted to a tray, canopy, firewall or electrical panel using its mounting base. The 9.5mm stainless steel studs provide the connection points for input and output cable terminations, allowing the breaker to sit inline between the power source and the downstream load.

During normal operation, the breaker maintains circuit continuity through the 50A rated path. If current exceeds the breaker threshold, the internal mechanism trips and opens the circuit. Power remains interrupted until the fault is addressed and the breaker is manually reset, allowing the circuit to be returned to service without replacing components.

The housing is built for vehicle and outdoor electrical environments where vibration, dust and water exposure are expected. Its IP67 rating supports installation in exposed areas on work vehicles and service bodies, while the stainless steel studs provide secure cable connection points in demanding operating conditions.

This breaker is compatible with 12V and 24V vehicle systems and can be used in DC circuits up to 72V. It suits single-circuit protection in auxiliary power distribution, lighting feeds, warning equipment circuits, compressors and other accessory connections where a manual reset breaker is required as part of the electrical layout.

In real vehicle setups, it is commonly used on traffic control utes, civil fleet, utility service bodies and contractor vehicles powering arrow boards, beacons, work lights, inverter feeds and other auxiliary equipment that need resettable protection and local circuit isolation in day-to-day field use.

This product is covered by the manufacturer's warranty of 1 year against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use, in accordance with the manufacturer's standard warranty terms.

Electrical components must be selected and installed as part of a suitable electrical system. This warranty does not cover damage resulting from incorrect installation, overloading, modification, environmental exposure, or misuse. Installation should be carried out by a qualified auto electrician.
