Twin Core Automotive Cable | 3mm | 30m Roll

OEX 3mm Twin Core Automotive Cable carries power and return in a single sheathed run, which is what makes it the standard accessory wiring cable on work vehicles. One cable routes from the power source to the accessory, red core out, black core back, with the black outer sheath protecting both along the chassis, through grommets and into the tray or cab. Typical circuits include beacons, work lights, UHF radios, accessory sockets and switch feeds.

Each core is 16 strands of 0.30mm oxygen-free copper, about 1.13mm² of conductor per core, with red and black insulation inside the black sheath. The high strand count keeps the cable flexible for routing through tight spaces and around bends without fighting the installer, and 3mm is the automotive trade sizing for this cable, describing the nominal core size rather than the copper area.

The cable is rated 10A at 30°C, with V90 insulation rated to 90°C, suiting engine bay heat as well as cab and chassis runs. The sheath is UV stabilised for exposed sections, and the cable is RoHS compliant. Circuit design, current loading and fuse protection for any run remain the responsibility of the installer.

This product is covered by the manufacturer's warranty of 1 year against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use, in accordance with the manufacturer's standard warranty terms.

Electrical components must be selected and installed as part of a suitable electrical system. This warranty does not cover damage resulting from incorrect installation, overloading, modification, environmental exposure, or misuse. Installation should be carried out by a qualified auto electrician.
